I'm Lijeesh Rajan — a technology leader who has spent more than twenty years inside the hospitality industry, working at the enterprise level across some of the region's most respected hotel management groups. My career has been built at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, where I've grown from property-level IT to leading strategy and services across the entire portfolio.
My belief is simple: technology in hospitality exists to serve the guest experience, not the other way around. Every infrastructure decision, every platform choice, every transformation programme I've led has been measured against one question — does this make a real difference to the people walking through the door? That perspective is what separates genuine leadership from technical management.
Leading enterprise-wide IT strategy and service delivery across Rotana's full portfolio — digital transformation programmes, corporate governance, technology architecture, and a centralised IT function spanning properties across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Expanded scope from centralised services to full corporate IT strategy — portfolio-wide systems standardisation, vendor rationalisation, and shared technology services across 30+ IT professionals in multiple geographies.
Built and led Rotana's centralised IT services function — shared infrastructure, unified helpdesk, and standardised technology delivery across the growing hotel portfolio.
